Our Story

Tiare Monoi is the story of how our founder Lorna, visited the Pacific Islands on vacation. Upon discovering the locally produced Monoi de Tahiti, she became obsessed with its unique range of wellness applications - from a deep and nourishing hair conditioning treatment, to facial cleansing and makeup removal, anti-aging after sun moisturising, and its all over skin rejuvenation properties. In addition, was the seemingly calming and deeply soothing effect of the bubblegum scented natural fragrance. 

Upon befriending the local islander women, they confirmed what we now know to be true. For centuries the bubblegum scented Monoi de Tahiti is what they've used to massage their babies before bedtime, gently inducing a restful night's sleep.

Upon returning home, Lorna shared this holiday discovery with her sister-in-law Morgen, and together they created Tiare Monoi Wellness Balms and Oils, to bring a uniquely curated range of incredibly restorative, relaxing and nourishing, 99% pure Monoi de Tahiti products from the Pacific Islands to the mainland of Australia.

Game Changer

This product is an absolute game changer! I was first introduced to it for my 8-month-old baby, who was a very restless sleeper and waking multiple times each night. Incredibly Relaxing

At the time I was given a sample of Baby Dream Oil, I had been under a lot of stress, I wasn't sleeping and lack of sleep was making my stress levels worse. Lorna suggested I try this oil that smells delicious a bit like bubblegum and rub it on my temples and neck before I go to sleep. 

It was incredibly relaxing and before I knew it was out like a light. I actually slept through the whole night without waking. The oil is very soothing and the smell is not overpowering, just quite gentle and calming.

My understanding that this oil is used in some cultures to calm babies? It definitely helped me relax and sleep better. Will definitely be seeking a bottle once its on the market.

I absolutely love Dream Baby. This oil is incredibly versatile and has the most beautiful scent I’ve come across. Its calming aroma helps promote better sleep and is also a natural repellent for mosquitos.

I started using the Dream Baby Balm and Oil when my baby was 9 months old and now use it with my toddler as well. The scent is incredible, soft, natural and genuinely calming for both of my children.

Applying it straight after bath time has become a lovely part of our bedtime routine. It’s beautifully moisturising and gentle on the skin, and the soothing scent seems to really help with sleep. Improved Quality Of Sleep

For weeks I had been struggling to sleep. I was becoming so frustrated, having tried so many things. Then I was introduced  to dream baby oil. Initially I used it as a moisturiser but I immediately realised after the first evening I used it, that it helps me to sleep too.

Skin Looks Calmer

My mum was using this product to soften her skin and also help her sleep.
